Man charged after knife seized

A man has been charged after a knife was seized in Stoke-on-Trent. 

Thomas Harrison, 35, from Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent, has been charged with possession of a knife in a public place. 

It comes after officers on #problemsolvingpolicing patrols in Hanley on Saturday (27 September) were called to Hillcrest Street following reports of a man in possession of a knife. 

Harrison has been released on bail ahead of a hearing at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre on Thursday 16 October.
